Wayne Ritchie was installed as President of the Southeastern Chapters of ABOTA at the regional group’s annual meeting in Point Clear, Alabama, on April 27, 2013. The group has over 800 members and is comprised of both plaintiff’s and defense attorneys who specialize in civil trial practice in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. As part of ABOTA, the group’s main goal is to protect and preserve the Seventh Amendment and to advance professionalism and civility in the practice of law.
